Imagine waking up in Scotland’s oldest inhabited castle on Christmas morning! Our three-night festive break lets you enjoy the finest food, in effortless luxury to take the stress out of Christmas. Make memories that last a lifetime.

24th December
Christmas Eve
Arrive and sit down to some light bites whilst taking in the views over the castle estate. Spend an hour in our chapel enjoying the Castle’s Falconry’s Owls, Myths and Legends experience before getting ready for a magnificent Five course tasting menu.

Enjoy a warming glass of mulled wine in one of our lounges, we’ll be screening a festive classic in the Brechin Cinema, perfect to relax and unwind ahead of the big day.

25th December
Christmas Day
Start the morning with a fabulous Scottish breakfast before enjoying a leisurely morning in the castle or exploring the grounds.

A traditional Christmas lunch will be served with all the trimmings. The King’s Speech will then be aired in one of our reception rooms, alongside a hot Toddie and homemade Christmas cake. And in a time-honored tradition, we’ll be running our ‘Guess the weight of the Christmas cake’ competition before the cutting of the cake during the afternoon.

For those who still have room, there will be a festive Charcuterie grazing board along with sweet treats to indulge on.

26th December
Boxing Day
After a lazy brunch you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy laser clay pigeon shooting before a festive lunch. During the afternoon you may like to partake in a cocktail masterclass or a selection of mini spa treatments.

Finish celebrating here at Dalhousie castle and join us for a gala dinner, followed by a ceilidh band to dance the night away.

27th December
Start the day with a Scottish breakfast before saying your farewells -or head to the aqueous spa for some more pampering.
